Predict your baby's weight with accuracy and confidence!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start predicting my baby’s fetal weight?

To estimate your baby’s current weight, tap the “+ Add Ultrasound Scan” button on the home screen. Enter key biometric measurements from your latest ultrasound—such as BPD (Biparietal Diameter), HC (Head Circumference), AC (Abdominal Circumference), and FL (Femur Length)—in millimeters. Select the date of the scan, and optionally add notes like gestational age or technician name. Tap “Calculate”, and the app will instantly display the predicted fetal weight using the Hadlock formula (or your chosen algorithm). All data is securely synced to the cloud in real time.

Can I track multiple ultrasounds over time?

Yes! Each scan you log is saved in your history with its date and calculated weight. You can view all entries chronologically to monitor your baby’s growth trajectory throughout pregnancy.

How does the app calculate fetal weight?

The app uses clinically validated formulas—primarily the Hadlock III formula (which combines AC, FL, BPD, and HC)—to estimate fetal weight in grams. You can also switch to alternative models (e.g., Shepard, Hadlock I/II) in Settings > Estimation Method if preferred by your healthcare provider.

Can I see how my baby’s growth compares to average percentiles?

Absolutely. In the “Growth Report” tab, the app plots your baby’s estimated weight against standard fetal growth curves (based on WHO or INTERGROWTH-21st standards). You’ll see whether your baby is tracking along the 10th, 50th, 90th percentile, etc., helping you and your doctor assess healthy development.

Does the app work offline?

The app requires an internet connection to sync data to our secure servers and access the latest growth charts. However, you can view recently entered scans offline, and any new entries made without connectivity will auto-sync once you’re back online.

Can I edit or delete a scan entry?

Yes. Simply tap any saved scan in your history, then choose “Edit” to update measurements, date, or notes—or “Delete” to remove it entirely. Changes are reflected across all devices instantly.

What is the purpose of the “Growth Trend Alert” feature?

This feature monitors changes in your baby’s estimated weight between scans. If growth appears unusually slow or rapid (e.g., crossing two major percentiles), the app will notify you so you can discuss it with your care team—promoting early intervention if needed.

Can I share results with my doctor or partner?

Definitely. From any scan result or growth report, tap the “Share” icon to generate a clean PDF summary—including measurements, estimated weight, percentile, and trend graph—that you can email, message, or print for appointments.

How to Use the Baby Weight Calculator

1
Start Predicting Your Baby’s Weight in Seconds

Open the app and tap “Add First Scan”—no account or setup needed. Just enter your latest ultrasound measurements (like BPD, AC, FL, and HC) in millimeters, select the scan date, and tap “Calculate.” Within seconds, you’ll see your baby’s estimated weight and percentile. It’s that simple to get started!

2
Track Fetal Growth Over Time with Visual Insights

Go to the “Growth Trends” tab to see how your baby is developing week by week. Clear, color-coded charts display estimated fetal weight, growth velocity, and percentile curves based on global standards. Spot patterns, celebrate milestones, and share progress with your care team—all in one place.

3
Compare Scans & Get Smart Alerts

The app automatically compares new scans with previous ones. If your baby’s growth rate changes significantly—like dropping or rising across percentiles—you’ll receive a gentle “Growth Alert” so you can stay informed and consult your provider if needed. Peace of mind built right in.

4
Log & Organize Ultrasounds Effortlessly

Tap the “+” button to add any scan. Enter biometric values, choose your preferred estimation formula (Hadlock, Shepard, etc.), tag the clinic or technician, and add notes like “growth scan at 32 weeks.” All entries are saved securely, synced across devices, and ready to export for your next prenatal visit.
